Description
Content description from The Arts on Television, 1976-1990: Fifteen Years of Cultural Programming:
Two collaborative works by the choreographer Molissa Fenley and the video artists John Sanborn and Mary Perillo. Metabolism is a non-stop dance that focuses on the inner workings of the body in motion and in transit. Music by David Van Tieghem. Geography, filmed on location in the Painted Desert of New Mexico, pins the body of the dancer against a strange and harsh southwest landscape.
