Documentary on the formation of OMO, an experimental ballet company founded by former members of the San Francisco Ballet. The documentary includes analyses of three works: On moving on, Accidental or abnormal chromosomal events, and Overlay. The analyses include a mix of actual performance footage with backstage and rehearsal shots, and statements by the choreographers (Victoria Morgan, Val Caniparoli, Betsy Erickson, Kirk Paterson), composer (Dennis Dieterich), designer (Sandra Woodall), and performers. Michael Smuin, former director of the San Francisco Ballet, also comments on the company's work.
